Rooms were typically basic with low uncomfortable beds and cheap plastic furniture. Our room was overrun with mosquitoes. Every night we would use a/c and eventually get rid of the damn mossies with sprays, candles, plug ins and rolled up newspaper. Every day while we were out the cleaner left our balcony doors open (although requested not to) and we were eaten alive again for hours each night. The staff were on the whole quite friendly apart from one old dragon on the reception. Our return flight was in the middle of the night so we payed 40 euros for an extra night so we wouldn't have to wait with our bags anywhere. When we tried to get a couple of hours sleep before leaving in the evening the receptionist telephoned several times keeping us awake trying to get us to vacate the room. She even tried telling us we had only paid for a couple of hours extra and not for a full night? luckily we had a receipt.
