Near perfect holiday

Family run apartments, great value with lovely clean pool only minutes of good beach. Well run by friendly staff. Good for children and sun seekers of any age. Highly recommended.

Nice quite location, the apartments were very godd for Greek standard. The level of cleaning was very good. The surrounding area was a little quite, and the estimated time to walk to the centre was about 20 min in the brochure, but 35-40 would be more realistic. However, it was only 5 euro in a taxi. This family run apts were very nice overall, I would definately visit again. Ideal for sunworshippers as 1 minute from a fabulous beach.

Appts were very clean and of a good standard. Local beach is OK - but very close which is good. Lots of local Taverners all with good food. I would recommend hiring a car (MUCH cheaper rates from local car hire shops than the holiday rep)to see beautiful views up in the mountains and find some nicer, less touristy, beaches and villages.

Great little apartments, relaxing by day and fun by night. Thanks to Vasilis the barman he was so entertaining. Apartment owner and rep Yvonne were all great help big thanks for making our holiday.

Top Local Tips for Crete
Bus! The bus runs from the top of Kato Gouves road every half an hour and is very cheap - only EUR1.20 to Hersonissios. Much cheaper than taxis
getting about the local buses are very frequent and cost just a few euro's making exploring the Island easy, a short walk to the main road and the buses come along about every 25 mins and they are very comfortable, they also have onboard toilets so no panic if you are going a fair way.
