Hotel seemed to look shabby but maybe that was because we visited at the end of the season. We were on an all-inclusive basis but we found food to be boring and quite basis and the selection of drinks was very poor. We are unlikely to stay at the hotel again.

Having been to the louis creta 10 yrs previous, we knew it was going to be a quite place. The pools and food are excellent. The problem we found was that there were not many english speaking people. Last time we played a 14 a side soccer match this time u would be lucky 2 have a 5 a side. There is no nightlife but there is a bar on the seafront outside the hotel that shows all top sports and nice ice cool lager.

the rooms are basic but adequate and clean. Reception staff and maids cannot be faulted. The main problem is the repetetive food and a non existant night life. This hotel is not for you if you dont want hoards of kids running around you all day and night. We suggest bringing a pack of playing cards with you for the evening. The location is remote and nothing surrounding the hotel. This is our first time at an all inclusive hotel and we have been disappointed with the experience.

Our only criticism was the evening dress code in the restaurant was not enforced, the beach-bum look at dinner was not in keeping with the standards expected of a 4 star hotel, and the entertainment in the evening was very kids-club only. Otherwise we had an excellent week !!!!!

Excellent holiday, a little like ground hog day!!!

On arriving at the hotel our first impression was great, BUT as we checked in we were not offered any help getting to our room which was a garden apartment, with 3 suitecases, hand luggage a 5 year old a buggy and a baby we made our way to our room via the packed pool side (Not a great start). The rooms are ok, very basic and VERY SMALL!!! there is a small fridge and a safe which is 3 euro per day which on a 2 week stay works out expensive. House keeping could have been better as we did'nt get a change of towels for the first 5 days and even then we had to ask. The pools are excellent especially the graded pool (Ideal for small children) found myself getting up at around 7 to get the towels out as you dont stand a chance unless you do!!! Staff were ok, and animation team were great, my daughter loved them plenty of games and activities to do throught the day, mini disco in the evening is the same EVERY evening with the same songs in the same order (Not that my daughter cared, or me for that matter). after the first week the Adult entertainment was also repeated, Greek night monday, comedy tuesday, bingo wednesday, guest show thursday, Musical meadley friday etc. (GROUND HOG DAY!!) over all they work very hard to make it a lovely holiday. Bugs bunny club (First choice Guests only) was lovely Katie & Tasha do an excellent job every day (even on their day off) and they do a diffrent thing with the kids every day, they even have a pizza and DVD night (9 till 11) for a few euro which gives you a chance to watch the evening show in peace. Dont be fooled by the "Tweety" club. It is a kids club run by the hotel and has taken its name from first choice who have a "Tweety" club for 2-4 year olds this hotel crech is not run for that age range but for guests not travelling first choice with children aged 4+. There is nothing near the hotel but there is a lovely little tourist town a short cab ride away, the Hotel run a free bus ride daily to Chania town which is great and also if you book an excursion they supply you with a packed lunch which you order the night before. Food was lovely, Italian restaurant was more of a pizza place but very nice. Chinese was lovely and a wide choice of food. Bar grill was gorgeous, so much to choose from. Evening meal was plentiful and very nice. Overall we really enjoyed this holiday great for both kids and adults!! If i could give you one pice of advice it would be not to buy your pool inflatables (or anything else) from the hotel shop their pirce mark up is about 110%. We brought an inflatable boat for 35 euro and in the supermarket at the top of the hill at the enterance of the hotel it was 7 euro!!!

If you have kids, then this hotel is a must, excellent pool, beach ok, kids club, and sunshine, what more could you ask for. Entertainment was great, never used to what ail shows before, but daughter loved them, and the animation team was excellent. Oh I wish I was back there! Food ok, drinks loads, even tomato juice which was very nice, bar staff good, all staff good. Rooms clean, booked red train to water park excellent day very good value, and you get to see the countryside.

Highly recommended for families and couples. Hotel has superb pool and other facilities which are really welllooked after. Self service buffets offer an excellent range of dishes, in the end we looked forward to coming home just to have a sandwich! No problems with getting drinks. Staff were really helpful and friendly except for one miserable poolside bar tender. Loved Crete, its scenery and fantastic weather.
