This hotel took my email booking, including credit card details. Upon arrival on a late night ferry, we called and were told the room had been given away. Upon arriving at their doorstep we were told they never received a booking (first lie), although I had confirmation via email that they had. They refused to help us find an alternative room, swearing at us in Greek. I returned the next day to complain and to make sure they didnt charge my credit card, to be told they thought my email was not a confirmed booking (gotta be kidding), then saying I booked it for the wrong night (another lie), then telling me he hadnt sworn in Greek (I am not stupid). Do you really want to book a hotel that lies from the start and gives away your room, even if you have supplied your credit card details??
