My friend and myself booked a last minute holiday,as we both felt we needed a break. We booked to Crete, was changed hotels a week before we went, we at this point thought all was going to go wrong!! How wrong could we have been, the hotel we were moved to Kavros beach was everything we wanted from a holiday, it was spacious, clean, good staff, situated on the beach with a lovely pool, so you could choose. Enough shops on other side of road for your needs, but on a bus route if you wanted to go into Rhethmenon16km, or giorgioupolis 4km, which was a nice walk. Food was good and very varied, this was a perfect chilled week, and would definately return.
