We have stayed at The Iliana in 2005 and 2006 and are just about to book for 2008. Great rooms, clean & tidy with a lovely pool that is cleaned daily.

Irene, the manager, is very friendly and helpful.

Directly across the road is the jewellery shop of Drandakis Likourgos, a wonderful man and talented silversmith.

The Fanari taverna is our personal favourite place to eat. Adonis and Yiannis are so friendly and their Mother makes the most delicious food!

My wife and I have stayed at the Illi apartments three times now and are hoping to go there in 2007 such is the draw of the place. Would certainly recommend the Fanari and in fact all the bars and tavernas in the village.

We stayed at Illiana in 2002, 2004, and 2005 now Manos has stopped using Illiana we are going to make our own plans for 2007. Its like going home everyone is soooo friendly. Irene the manager speaks almost perfect English and will help in any way she can, she is there mon - sat 9.30am til 1.00pm then 6pm til 9.30pm. The rooms are clean, well kept and comfortable. Pool is small with sunloungers and umbrellas, I found the water in the pool cold although there were plenty of brave soles who swam in it regularly. Both beeches are small and safe especially the harbour beach which is sheltered from the sea so it has very small waves and is shallow enough for little ones to play safely and there are sun loungers and umbrellas to hire on the beach. The mini supermarkets in Pamormo are cheap and sell almost everything,from food to shoes! and there is a baker who bakes fresh bread every day except sunday so buy 2 on saturday. There are clean and regular buses to Remmy where there are large supermarkets if you want to do a big shop

Stayed there twice now, get's better every time. Accommodation very clean, comfy beds, good facilities. Well situated for excellent tavernas, particularly Taverna Fanari. Fab beach and good swimming & snorkelling. Highly recommended. 20/10

Superb accommodation in a wonderful Cretan village

A small well decorated and very clean apartment complex in the centre of the village. Rooms are cleaned daily, have air con and are close to all amenities. Mackies Restaurant or George and Georgina offer excellent food and the Oasis Bar is excellent for a relaxing drink. A superb "lived in" village where you will receive a warm welcome.
