Our First Holiday

This was me and my girlfriends first holiday as a couple, it took us weeks to decide where to go. Until we came across Eri Beach Hotel we liked everything we saw and read about it. When we got to the hotel it was around 2:30am (we had a late flight) we walked through the main entrance to the desk. There was a man sitting down looking at a computer, he must have been the night porter but he seemed very arrogant and not bothered about checking us in properly. The lift's in the hotel were very tacky and looked and sounded like they were about to breakdown. When we got to our room it was very cold we soon found out that was because the air con had been broken and was always stuck on but appart from that the rooms were very big and light, with a big balconay (no light outside though so you can't sit out at night). Things to do round the hotel were ok with two big swimming pools and the beach just a stones throw away with lots of water sports and beach activities to keep you going, also there were plenty of bars around the hotel and pool areas but what let it down for us was the lack of drinks that were offered. Their own brand of beer sometimes tasted flat, Ouzo which was their own type of pernod and Raki which just tasted of Coconut. The day and night entertainment was mainly in German so we often went and found our own things to do. We often took a walk down to the town which was just a short walk from the hotel which was about 200 yards with more bars and Restaurants along with very nice shops for gifts so have your Euros with you. When we booked the hotel we booked to go all inclusive, because in a description we read it said there would be snacks and plenty of food to eat. Well this isnt the case the only meals you got were lunch and dinner during the day you had to go out and buy yourself crisps and other things form the local shop which isnt the reason why you book all inclusive. When lunch and dinner came around there was never much to choose from it was always pasta or pasta. When there was other food offered it was never cooked properly or had ran out. when you asked for more they would always moan about what you was asking them for, and the restaurant was always dirty, tables were never set, all the waitress could never be bothered to set your tables because they were to bothered about gossping between themselves and it wouldnt hurt to teach them how to smile. Overall it was an ok holiday for me and my girlfriend for our first holiday but i dont think we will be going back there very soon.

DONT COME HERE!!!

we arrived at the eri palace hotel to find a 'bar' with no drinks apart from ouzo, raki and soft drinks- also two nine year olds were taking the alcohol and drinking it which is very dangerous!!! There is an extremaly steep and long hill to walk from the beach area to the hotel, it is aproximatly 900m long and aproximtly half a mile high from the beach! It is full of foreigners and the management are arrogant and dont care about their holiday makers, the food is awful when it is supposed to be an all-inclusive hotel- IT IS NOT! There is no snacks, or alcohal in the morning, afternoon and evening! There is too many stairs for elderly people and there is no lifts for disabled people! DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WOULD LIKE A GOOD HOLIDAY BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT GET IT!
