This hotel can only be described as basic! The rooms are clean and fairly well equipped (as I am told for the general standard of hotels in Malia which is poor). The staff are very friendly and helpful. However, the balconies are TINY, the rooms aren't exactly large either. Also, we weren't supplied with towels, our hot water didn't work, and there were ridiculous charges for breakages which we didn't quite agree with. All of this said, if you are a young group who are on a holiday for the beach and nightlife, this hotel is ideal. You don't spend much time in the room anyway, and its location is excellent. I would recommend the air conditioning, because without it the mosquitoes will slaughter you! Despite lack of elements of luxury, we had an amazing week at the drossia, and you learn to love the "basic" nature of the room!
