Elafonissi its a carribean beach in Crete...we got there and stood there for a minute breathless it was a beautiful almost deserted beach (if you go before september it wont be deserted but still in 30c ish) and i can say that really..this is the only excursion worth going on with first choice as you get to go up cave of sophia, monastry of golden steps and 3 hours at the beach and stop of in a small traditional greek town for lunch...the guide was amazing too!
