trips don't book the excursion at the hotel ..book it in the city (Rethymno) and you will save 10-20 euros :D. If you choose Crete, is betterto stay in Chania...the city is far more spectacular than Rethymno. Don't miss out Elafonissi: it's in top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world: crystal clear water, pink sand and silver fishes (+ if you tell the person there that you are Romanian...they will give you the sun beds for free ;)..it worked for me...I read it on the internet..apparently the people working there are Romanians..and I didn't even talked to them in Romanian ...because I don't know :)) the language Chania is great :D..search some videos on youtube.com about and see for yourself
