Great value all-inclusive holiday. Good Food and plenty of it, at any time of the day. Friendly staff, rooms a bit basic but this is Greece! The rooms do have satellite TV and a fridge and are cleaned every day with fresh towels daily, no complaints there. Children's club and entertainment is good, adults entertainment is a bit Butlins...I wont go again

Excellent holiday all round, Georgious, Stella, both Kostas's, Jerome, all the cleaners.....a fantastic team, who all got on incredibly well and made our holiday very entertaining. Price's, location, rooms, restaurants and bars really good. Will definately be returning next year as the team made us feel so welcome.

All staff were great - from reception to cleaning staff - Georgious (services manager) wonderful and on top of his job. Stella and Costas (restaurant and bars) were first class, friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble here.

Food good and varied - services manager excellent - bar staff (Stella and Costas) did a really good and friendly job.
Rooms comfortable and clean - a really good holiday destination.
Nothing was too much trouble - from the cleaners to the general manager

Top Local Tips for Crete

Great food I would recomend the Miramare taverna and the Elite taverna. Both do really wonderfull and resonably priced food. In fact most of the tavernas in Sissi a pretty wonderfull and all have a great view of the sea and its beautifull sunsets! It really is a very romantic villiage. Ideal for couples!

Eating out Try the restaurants on the waterside - excellent choice and superb food.

fast food the food around the harbour is all pretty much the same...I would recommend a fast food place down the side of Peggy Gordon's (the irish bar) chicken sandwich is divine (herbed chicken, cheese and chips all in a softish baguette). much preferable to yet another gyros!
