How is this hotel all inclusive?
For the last 5 years we have been staying at 5 star all inclusive hotels all over Greece. I would hardly say the Athina Palace Hotel was in this category. For a start it was anything but 5 star. The main bar you got a 50 per cent discount on drinks, you had to pay for drinks at the beach bar and also the sunbeds, how can this be all inclusive? The food was second rate, when you paid 15 euros to dine in the italian restaurant, the leftovers were served the next day at lunchtime and evening meal.Very disappointed, from now on we shall be booking with the Mitsis chain, where everything is all inclusive including the mini bar in your room, there wasn`t even so much as a bottle of water in the room after a full day travelling to get there. we had to climb 220 steps for every meal, so make sure you are fit and healthy, if you aren`t you will be when you return!!!

Worst Holiday Ever
We have just returned from the worst two weeks holiday ever. We had to climb over 200 steps to get to the Reception and dining area....wish we hadn't bothered - food was disgusting and cats were allowed to roam freely in the dining area. Don't understand how it was classed as a 5*Hotel. Location was isolated.

Relaxation and indulgence at Athina Palace!
Just returned from a fantastic week in this resort. All facilities were excellent, My 7 year old thought the kids entertainment team were great. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday in fantastic surroundings, with excellent food and wine on tap in a friendly resort, this place is for you. great! We will be back.

Nightmare at Athina
This was supposed to be a great family holiday in a 5 star hotel, however it turned out to be a nightmare, food was limited and disgusting, poor quality entertainment for kids, pools were dirty and management not prepared to listen to complaints. Not sure how it has been rated 5 star.

Excellent!
I stayed here in May 2005 for a week on an all inclusive basis. I was very impressed. The food was excellent..well presented and fresh with every meal. The whole hotel was clean and spacious. Staff all worked very hard and were courteous and friendly. I would definitely reccomend this hotel as it certainly deserves it's 5 star rating.
