Cannot wait to go back in June 2007
This was our third visit to Fodele Beach. Each time we go it gets better. The staff are very friendly and helpful and wonderful with the children. The rooms are spacious and the food is excellent.

Definetly worth a visit!
My friend and I stayed at Fodele Beach in May, 2006. As two females on their own visiting Greece for the first time. We would highly reccommend this hotel. All the staff made us extremely welcome and were very helpful! The hotel is in a beautiful location, perfect for a quiet getaway. We hope to visit again one day, it would certainly be our first choice.

Fantastic
Went to Fodele beach last September. Everything was perfect, cannot find fault with anything. Returning to same hotel in June 2006.cannot wait to see everybody again. Truly fantastic.

5 star?
We were really looking forward to this stay at the supposedly 5 star Fodele Beach. Unfortunately we were pretty disappointed. The hotel is by no means bad, the pool was excellent (very deep & big) the views were grand and its position was very nice. However, the rooms were substandard - nothing special (dodgy craftmanship). The food ok but again nothing special and themed nights (did we miss something? - it was the same stuff every night!) The staff were again ok but lacked a personality and reception were not the most helpful in the world. Thank goodness for the car hire, where we were able to get out and about and see some real cretan culture - a must for any couple really, otherwise you can find a cheaper, similar holiday elsewhere. Sorry Fodele Beach but the claim of 5 star is a little excessive, yes you have a gym (with basic equipment and a good clean wouldn't go a miss) a sauna (always locked and reception could smile a little when dealing with queries about this)

Recommended to couples and families
An excellent hotel to stay at. I worked at the hotel for two summers as a holiday representative for a top leading UK Tour Company. The hotel is located in a quiet but superb location. Close to a typically Greek village of Fodele. The staff and management are extremely friendly and helpful. I would and will always recommend this hotel to any couples and families for their summer vacation.
