I booked a 5* all inclusive holiday I received a 3* all inclusive holiday. This hotel is under renovation, why wasnt this stipulated on the web site? When we booked it was shown as 5* its down to 4* now but its not 4 its 3. The food was awful 2*. The public and pool area have been refurbished and look fabulous from a distance, however much work is still needed. Many health and safety issues with this hotel which I will be taking up with the tour operators.I would be afraid to take children to this hotel no fire information, notices were going up when we left. Room was substandard, with furniture from the rooms being renovated stored in the rooms being used. We have been badly let down, not all the hotels fault, and I believe in time to come it will be 5* but it is far from that at the moment. Animation team excellent and the sun shone. Staff friendly but issues were out of their control. Happy to discuss with management and tour operators.

We have stayed at this hotel twice and we would stay again. Its so peaceful and such friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money, good food and clean but a little out dated. Such wonderful views I would recommend paying the extra for a sea view well worth the small difference. Its away from it all, but no good if you are bad at walking very steep hills down to the beach but there is a free bus that runs down and back up. We have never hired a car yet. There are lovely walks through the olive woods to other villages at the end of the wood you can catch a bus to Corfu town you get your bus ticket from the shop at the top of the hill above the Hotel they will tell you the times of the bus to Corfu and back again. I would recommend Yaliskari Palace to you if you are thinking of going but be prepared for the steep hills. If you want a busy night life this is not for you, there are only a couple of bars and shops and very quite. You can really recharge your batteries. WE LOVE IT .

The hotel was a little bit shabby on the inside but with some character. Food was OK but after a week, we were fed up with the evening meal so would go B&B on another occassion. We enjoyed going to the hotel beach, walk down, bus back.
It was fine for us but anybody with any walking difficulty would have no chance of a good time.
We felt a bit remote sometimes and so spent a fair bit on taxi fares.

This was our first time in Corfu. The hotel is situated in a very small village, on a hill (cca 15 km from Corfu city). The beach is about 100-200 m, but the way down is very steep (hotel operates mini-bus to the beach). There were only two little shops and one taverna in the near. Making an excursion is basically impossible, because there is nothing to see, and the terrain is very hilly. We rented a car, and travelled a lot across Corfu. The room was clean, furniture is a bit worn (but no casuse of complaint). The food in the hotel was good.

It was our first time there. It was very funny, because the service at the restaurante and at the pool bar were very lovely to us. We had had a wonderfull time with all the waiters. Thank you for all. YASSAS

Top Local Tips for Corfu
General Tips The hotel owns the sunbeds on the left down by the beach and these are free to hotel guests. The others on the right will cost you three Euros. Hotel runs a free minibus to reach this beach, don't try and walk as its incredibly steep. Hire a car if you want to get around as taxi fares will mount up because it's out of the way but try walking to Pelekos, it has late night shopping on Thursdays and lively tavernas, it will take you around 20 minutes to reach.
Seeing life Catch the local bus to Corfu Town early morning - crowded but great fun
Rex Restaurant in Corfu Great food but expensive. They serve you with a lot without asking (like mineral water and than ask you what you want to drink - be sure they charge you later with the mineral water). The business model is not one that I like but food is great.
