Roda beach hotel is a very friendly hotel! I went with my mother and 2 children and we had a fantastic time! The pool is amazing and the beach is nice! The boat hire is good and the trips they offer are very good value for money! The water park is a very good day out if you have children and are willing to pay the money, when you do go out on day trips the hotel gives you a food box for the day! The holiday reps are very friendly and lively! The dance around the pool is a right laugh and it gets you going! The food in the main restaurant is very good but they more or less keep it the same with hardly any change in food. Generally the waiters and staff are very nice and willing to help! The three restaurants at the sea front are very nice, but you have to book before hand but it's worth it because it is delicious.
The rooms could do with a makeover and the air conditioning doesn't stay on unless you are in the room! But what I did was I kept the bathroom light on throughout the day and that would keep the a/c on all day (unless the maid turns it off, but then I just went up again to turn it on!) the views are fantastic if you have a balcony facing the sea front! All in all we had a fantastic time and would recommend it to allot of people! And who ever goes I hope they have a wonderful holiday!

Sunstarleisure marketed and sold this place as 5*. On arrival the reception looked really good. After that it all went downhill. The rooms should have been upgraded but have not been done. They are very basic. The airconditioning only works in the daytime (you need to be in your room all day as key is required in slot). The toilets in main area do not have handryers or paper towels! Ice in your drinks is a rarity. Access to the dining area is up two flights of stairs - leave the kids pushchairs at the bottom if you want to eat. The staff are really friendly - if you happen to be french or german. The 'snacks' at the beach and pool bars are lettuce and tom sandwhiches - thats it. This is the tip of the iceberg, it was a holiday to forget.
