Room underneath lounge, maid woke us up every morning shifting furniture around above us! Vent in bathroom opened onto delivery bay of hotel, noisy, sometimes smelly. Food not up to much, hotel shabby, but staff friendly.

First night put into room 617. No bath or shower. No Air conditioning. No hot water. No balcony. Dirty, TV tied on with an old belt. Complained, next day put into basement. 2 single beds with small double mattress on top. Very small room. No balcony, looked out onto a wall. I could go on. Worst hotel I ever stayed in. Other guests complaining. Manageress nicknamed the Dragon.

Renting a car We rented a car direct and did not use the hotel rep, we also bought a phonecard for 5 euros and this allowed us to phone home for 3hrs at a cost of 5 euros.
