The sea water doesn't seem to get above 20 degrees centigrades During my 7 day stay at the end of July, the sea water in Messonghi never exceeded 20 degrees centigrades. I estimate it was between 18 and 20 degrees. There are few beaches with nice water in Corfu. I only discovered 2: Sidari and Kavos. Paleokastritsa has great scenery, but the water is not really warm, although a few degrees warmer than in Messonghi. For water temperatures of 24 to 25 degrees centigrades choose Halkidiki, Thassos island or the Olympic beach. These are all places where I have spent holidays and felt excellent.
