Great location, service, everything...!!!

I went at this hotel at the end of May 2009, in an info trip, as I work as a travel agent. I went there with a group of collegues and our manager and we loved every minute of our stay.
As a travel agent, I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wishes a relaxing holiday, a wonderful view, friendly personnel.
I will definately go back there again, only as a tourist, not to work, this time and I am absolutely sure that I won't be dissapointed!

We stayed at Elly beach for 1 week in Sept 08. The views are fabulous , resort and rooms are clean and well maintained beach is good,staff are fantastic. One hell of a climb up hill to suitably furnished and adequate room.We did not pay for air con.If you want relaxing and quiet as we did this is the place to go.Fab would go back in a minute but hate 4 hr flight !!!!!!!

We have now visited this Hotel 3 times as a family. The great thing about this place is there is not a lot to do. Sit next to a pool with a brilliant view while keeping the bar busy. We have never seen the beach packed and the water is very clean.
As for the accommodation it is basic in the Hotel but the bungalows as they are called are very comfortable, good bath shower and a great view of the sea.
The staff are the main reason we have gone back and will again. We found having a car on our third visit gave us the opportunity to visit a lot of the very beautiful villages in the area and Corfu Town. As for the buffet food his is not the best but at the price I still cannot see how they do it, order from the main menu at a discount if you skip buffet that food is very good. Our boy's enjoyed Aqua Land about 20 minutes drive away and a good price for a whole days adventure. Only one problem we cannot seem to find any tour operators selling this hotel in 2008.

the view was lovely the best in fact but I think that is what makes the hotel popular. to be honest the rooms were like dorms absolutely horrid. squeaky beds and the food was rubbish for the price. the rooms leaked and unless u drive there is a steep hill to get to a tiny shop. I would not visit again but to be nice the pool was to die for it was lovely. but that was it sorry. p.s. the staff were great.

The food is staple in the hotel as are the rooms, but kept clean by the staff. Arrange for air conditioning and a fridge are extras but essential. Lovely beach and swimming pools. The beach is isolated but the tour rep organised some fun trips on a BBQ boat and greek night from the hotel. Wouldn't stay more than a week but felt very relaxed when I returned home.

Top Local Tips for Corfu

care needed when hiring car/bike We hired a car throuh the rep. car arrived next morning and we where shown the vehicle etc no problem. Please remember that Corfu takes no fuel to get about and there are loads of petrol stations. We felt a bit ripped off, the car came a quarter full and we did what i am sure others have done, filled right up at the nearest station. The fuel gauge had not moved by the end of the day. They now have a car full to use themselves. Subtle con or us being daft?????? A bike is far better but just be careful on the roads.

wasps and cats The wasps do like to hover round the jam and marmalade at breakfast but on the whole they were friendly enough no one stung while we were there.On the other hand i was twice scratched badly on back of hand by cats ,warning do not feed cats and they will not scratch you.

Car rental Dont use Easy Car hire they use a second rate local hire firm with dirty old bangers for vehicles
