My partner and I plus 2 of our other friends recently stayed at this hotel. We are all aged 31 -34. Our rooms at this hotel were terrible. We were on the East side of the hotel on the ground floor. We had no natural daylight in our room, the room was damp, the decor was very 70's, the shower kept falling off the wall etc etc. The breakfasts here were also terrible.
We would deffinately NOT recommend this hotel. My partner and I ended up changing hotels. We went to the Paleokastritsa Hotel which is opposite the Akrotiri. It is lovely and modern, fabulous views over the ocean and a far more relaxing hotel to stay in.

quiet and peacefull this area has some nightlife but is more suited to those wanting a quiet time ie no disco'.
where to find dinner there are lots of nice little tavernas which are great value near to the hotel. Try one called Neriods which is just a few steps down the hill. Very good food and entertainment. Hire a quad to get around this resort.
well worth hiring a boat Visit corfu old town. Hire your own boat for the day. Airport a bit of a nightmare coming home. Very hot when we were there and too hot to do much walking so coming back in September.

I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone, it is by far the best hotel in Paleo - Make sure you get a high floor on the south side and you will get the most beautiful view over the Ionian that there is. The decor is very 70s, but then so is decor in the Hotel Paleokastritsa.
