Nice hotel, bad location

This is a refurbished family run 5 floor hotel 5 blocks from Omonia Square. The rooms are spotless, breakfast ok and friendly staff. However, the location is on a street littered with rubbish, abandoned cars and strange smells. If you can get over the street outside the hotel itself is nice enough and charged me 50 EUR per night. The hotel is not convenient for pick up points for the organised day trips by major travel agents and is also not in the tourist district. If you can overcome that then you have a nice little hotel which would charge a lot more if it were in a better location.
