My husband & I stayed at this hotel for 8days;the price was very cheap compared to most hotels around this area. The location was great, it was a 5-minute walk from the local underground (metro), & very close to everywhere we needed to reach. The owners were very nice & helpful. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, nice bathroom, & very warm, & the lift that was provided came as a treat as my husband had an operation while we were staying in Athens, & he could not manage to walk up & down the stairs.
We must go back to Athens later this month & no doubt we will be staying at Pergamos Hotel.
Thank you very much to the two older men that are at reception all hours (day& night).
P.S. Don't let the outside of the Hotel put you off, go inside where it is freshly painted, clean, & very cheap.

A great stay for a great price!

This hotel was one that my husband and I fell into after a missed flight and an overnight layover in Athens. However, much to my enjoyment, this establishment was a great stay! The rooms were small but very clean, with private baths and showers. We even had an air conditioning unit that worked wonders for the hot afternoon, and I know some of the other rooms had ceiling fans as well. Our room faced the street and had a great little balcony. There was even a small, albeit ancient, elevator that made carrying our luggage up to the 5th floor much easier. The front desk staff spoke no English, but was very friendly and extremely accomodating. This is definitely a place that I felt went above and beyond the price we paid for the room!

The breakfast was OK - decent compared to the low price.
LP guide says the Omonia area is not the cleanest or safest, but we saw no reason to worry and the location is practical.
Ex tempore, one morning we decided to leave for Crete. We stumbled downstairs 5 mins past noon to cancel the rest of our reservation and check out. That was no problem and they started kindly giving tips about Crete sights.
