What attracted us to this hotel was the open air rooftop bar and swimming pool, and it was well worth it - think soft lighting, table service late into the night, stunning views of the Acropolis and surrounding area. It was a pity the pool and bar weren't open at the same time (day / evening split) but the poolside was still an attractive place to sit with a drink or three. The hotel restaurant on the ground floor was good too - not cheap, but excellent food in polished surroundings - and the staff were friendly and spoke English. Our room was fairly unexciting with no view (not that surprising given the cheap rate we paid), and the location is a little way out of the centre of Athens, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend it as a base to see the city from - but it was an excellent place to relax for a short stopover.
