Nice staff, nice bulding, a/c included in price, amazing breakfast for only 5 euro, great location and atmosphere! I'll go there again!

The location is fantastic, very close to metro and main train station which is ideal to transport to airport and every point in Athens very cheap. The building is really beautiful and the staff very friendly. Thank you!

Don't go to Neos Olympos

My stay in Neos Olympos hotel in Athens was my worst hotel-based experience. Besides the facts that the rooms where not being cleaned by the cleaning lady (after complaining they cleaned the room once) and the room had such a terrible smoke-smell the window could not be closed. It's not a safe place to stay.

The man at the reception let a group of 10 drunken guys in, who started throwing bottles out of the windows en yelling. They tried to open my hotel room. I called the reception 5 times telling them what was happening and that I was afraid, they just hung up!
After the guys emptying the fire extinguisher in my room, I had to go downstairs in pyjamas. Still the receptionist ignored me, and said 'they are just kids' (guys around 25+ years old)
The next day I complained again, they didn't want to help me, so I went to another hotel.

Really, if you want to have a safe stay in Athens, and enjoy your holiday, don't go to this hotel, it will give you absolutely the wrong impression of how the people in Greece are.

(After this I stayed in hotel Myrto in Nikis street (near to Syntagma square), where they where really nice and helpful)
