This hotel was a great disappointment. The hotel website is very misleading. We booked on the understanding that we would have a view of the Acropolis. When we arrived, we found the room to be very basic - with no view of the Acropolis. When we complained, they offered to reduce the room rate to Euro 100, and then they tried to charge us the full price later on. We really did not want to stay there after we saw the room but the hassle of looking for somewhere else at such late notice stopped us leaving. The hotel was extremely basic - and the communal areas were not clean. Apart from being stuck in a 1970s interior nightmare, the whole hotel needs a good vacuum. Our room on the fourth floor did not have the bathroom attached - we had to walk across a hallway shared with the neighboring room's bathroom. The walls of our room had severe water stains - probably damp. They even give you the TV remote control at reception - what does that say about them?! We had booked to stay...... Read more

This is the worst hotel that we have ever stayed in. The rooms were filthy with dirty marks on the doors and the carpets were stinking. My feet stuck to the floor in the tiny bathroom, the sink was cracked and there was no shower curtain. The top cover on the bed was stained and the spare pillows were stained and without slips. There were electric wires hanging out of walls and the bed wall lights had no switches to enable us to switch them on. The hotel does not take any credit cards. The breakfast was adequate but was made by the hotel desk clerk. I would never stay there again nor would I recommend it to anyone.
