Several times been there.Always polite,efficient and helpful staff.Spot clean rooms,all of them with a samll fridge,some of them with balconies,even decorated "Plaka Style"Restaurants,supermarket,groceries 3 minutes walk.Walking distance to Acropolis.No frills.Excellent.

This is a great hotel for the budget conscious traveller. Although the rooms are spartan, the staff more than makes up for it by advising on everything from what to do, where to eat, and how not to be taken advantage of by taxi drivers. It is also in a great location, just a short walk away from the plaka and the acropolis.

I had a very a nice stay in this hotel, I met nice and friendly people there and had a comfortable stay. the staff was very nice and gave me a lot of advices to contribute to my wonderfull stay in athens!!

Firstly, i was whith my girlfriend in Athens, because I'm an artstudent and Athens is a graet city to see antic art...
I made a trip arround the mediteranean see and a friend advise me this hostel...
The room was confortable, and quiet!
Good place to meet new people, some packpakers like me!
Well i recommend this place to all young people who want to go in Athens for cheap!!

I went for business to Athens and I spent some days in Marble House Hotel. It was very enjoyable and the staff are very nice, helpful and they have very good service. The hotel is nice and very cleanand has a good location.

We spent three days in Marble House in September 2008 â at the beginning of our tour and in October 2008 at the end of it.
We appreciated that all important attractions can be reached within a short walk. Also, we liked that Marble House is located in a comparatively quiet neighborhood. A big Supermarket is just around the corner - about 200 Meters from the hotel.
Two rooms have a big roof terrace, two others a big balcony. We had one and enjoyed it. The rooms are not the biggest, but they are clean. They have a ceiling fan, but no air condition. Keep that in mind if you come in summer. The rooms have no TV â we didn't missed it. Not all rooms have a private bath - that's not everyone's cup of tea. In summary, we think cost-performance ratio is fair for a hotel in central Athens.

I would like to thank all the staff of Marble House Hotel Athens Greece for their hospitality, their good service, their very good care of cleaning. The hotel has a good location, very close to Acropolis and for shopping. I spent nice days in marble house.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Marble House. It's amazing value for money. The location is great- 10 minutes walking from the Acropolis and the centre with shops etc. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back.

My family stayed at Marble House for two nights at the start of a 2 week stay in Greece, then for one night at the end. The location and cleanliness were great and the service more than adequate. The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable. The accommodations suited our needs well, though I should note the hotel has no elevator and each floor (about 6 rooms) share a small common bath. Also there was no air conditioning in our room, which suited us just fine. I would strongly recommend this hotel, but caution guests to assess the amenities (or lack thereof) to determine if the hotel suits them.

We were a group of students from Switzerland travelling in Greece during summer 2008 and stayed four days in Marble House in Athens. Our stay there was so great that we wish we could have stay more. People there was very friendly and we met a lot of nice and interesting people. The hotel has a very good atmosphere and is close to Athen's most interesting places. The staff of the hotel was very nice and gave us a lot of usefull advices to make our stay more pleasant. This hotel was recommended by a friend of mine and came up to be a really good place to stay.
