Went to Athens for a romantic holiday for two, travel agent booked us this hotel - HORRIBLE!! Room was facing a wall (about 2meters, nearly could reach and touch it). Horrible carpet in the room, nasty worn-out bathroom. Totally carbage! No not check in!

I don’t understand that why so many people had made very bad comments about this hotel, ok it wasn't the best hotel I have stayed in, but it was ok, at a very good location, easy to reach main places.

Near The Metro, But That`s All

A dirty and worn-out hotel. Won’t go back even if it’s free. The location with the metro so near, was definitely the best.

ABSOLUTELY AVOID IT - DONT GO THERE!

This is the worst hotel in the world, dirty, full of people with uses drugs all day in the rooms. Smell of egg, there is no service in rooms, the food is nasty, the water is yellow, the shower didn’t work, there were bottles under our beds and a big bug on a table, ABSOLUTELY DONT GO THERE this is not a hotel is a brothel! TRUST ME IT IS CHEAP BECAUSE ITS CLEARED ONLY ONCE A MONTH, really, I ain't kidding.

One of the worst hotel I ever stayed in

The rooms are dirty. The walls are so thin that you hear very well your neighbour who is vomitting. There was already someone in our room. The hotel is noisier in the night than Paris on strike during the day. A hotel to avoid unless you really want to lose money for not much.

September 2005 Athens, Cairo and Paris. The Hotel La Mirage was the laugh of the whole trip! Tiny, cramped rooms with dirty halls. Elevators seldom, if ever, worked. Easier to walk the three flights. Breakfast buffet consisted of gruel and swill. Horrible mish-mash of this and that just thrown out on a table. Lots of drug dealing in front of the hotel with druggies passed out within 10 feet of the door. Management said that the police aren't interested unless the person's dead. Filthy lobby and surly staff. Every request was met with a blank stare. I have no idea how this place stays in business. They cannot count on repeat customers, that's for sure! We finally moved to a different hotel and lost three days of prepayment. Simply not worth staying there at any price.
