Convenient, reasonable, budget hotel

Location unfashionable but conveniently close to Metro at Omonia Square. Entrance impressive but rooms somewhat dull & jaded, but clean & usable; however, elsewhere in Greece, I have had a larger shower than the entire en-suite! Continental breakfasts pretty good, staff quite friendly.

Top Local Tips for Athens
Lots to see there is lots of wonderful things about athens, shopping near the funicular was fantastic, lots of sights, monostiraki was brilliant for restaurants/bars and shops, and easy to walk to see attractions. The area near the british embassy had some great restaurants. i ate the most beautiful pork with plum and honey sauce. The weather is fantastic. I went in November and it was 25 degrees. you can also get a tram to the beach, and have days by the beach, as well as enjoy the city. i would go again, but just not to a dodgy hotel. Im well travelled and would definateley reccomend seeing athens once in your life time.
