Nightmare
Advertised as Aircon, direct phone and satellite. aircon and phone not working, TV set so bad not watchable button missing on set. Two lights not working. Room not serviced one day. Shower holder broken. Staff kind but powerless to do anything.

Continental Hotel - Avoid!
I was unfortunate enough to be at this hotel for almost 10 weeks, moved to Gibraltar and the company i work for paid the bill until i found a place of my own.
Firstly, do not let the location fool you, although its on main street and close to casemates square the noise at night is unbearable. If its not the teenagers drinking and arguing you can hear through the paper thin windows its the street cleaners or mopeds racing down the side streets. If for some reason that doesnt wake you up then the maids screeching and shouting to each other probably will. Not only that but the washing machine they use to do the laundry is always on and particulary noisy, plus the owner has a really annoying yappy dog that you can hear barking at people.
Then there is breakfast, breaskfast consists of a small glass of orange juice, 2 pieces of toast (occassionally burnt) and a coffee. thats it, anything else you have to pay more. I encountered various other problems during my stay, toilet wouldnt flush,...Read more
