The Fontana is a fantastic four-star hotel. When in Europe, the star ratings can be very misleading, but this one stands out. Great rooms, great bar, exceptionally friendly staff and the restaurant food are exceptional, albeit a bit pricey. Great local restaurants, however, are within 5-10 minutes walking distance. For seeing the rest of the city, the train station is located about 300 feet from the hotel! Fantastic!
