Courteous, Quiet, Perfect Location
I always stay at the Hotel Bristol when I come to Zurich, which is usually every year. The staff is courteous, helpful, knowledgeable about the city, and fluent in many languages. They often go out of their way to be helpful - once they helped me set up my laptop computer with the appropriate power plug transformer. The location is perfect, the price is right. I have recommended it to all of my friends.

Hotel Bristol
We stayed at this hotel for a couple days before my daughter's wedding at a ranch outside Steamboat. It is a perfectly nice hotel if a bit small and Spartan. The location is wonderful - right in the downtown where one can walk everywhere. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was clean but bed took up most of room and bath was clean but small. Price was right. So while it is not the usual kind of hotel we stay in, I preferred it to the fancier Grand Hotel which is a distance from town and more like a hotel.
