My husband and were part of a coach group. We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms were clean and tidy. The meals were ok however i found a fly in my soup and the presentation of food was not good. Breakfast was lying on tables for us going in the morning. How long for? i dont know. Karaoke was fun but presenter couldnt hold a note, but he made us laugh. The group that i was in were fantastic and we made our own fun whilst there. Staff were pretty friendly.
Not the worst hotel but would probably not stay here again through choice.

My friend and myself sayed at the Kurfurst in march, we was on a national coach trip. We had a great time. Hotel may not be everyones cup of tea, basic rooms bt very clean and the beds were very comfortable, the food was ok, breakfast is continental so dont expect a full english. the rooms dnt have kettles so advisable to take travel kettle and tea/coffee, having said all that i have to say there is something that attracts customers back again, as our coach driver said it must be the ambiance! The entertainment was provided by freddie, he didnt have to do much as he just had a way of getting everyone to join in, even me, he is a very funny man!All the staff were very friendly, we had a very warm welcome, would def stay there again.

I would never stay at this hotel ever again,we arrived at the hotel just after 10.30 at night, all we got for our evening meal was a bowl of soup, thats if you could call it that.we were not allowed back in hotel during the day,we were not welcome during the day,if you required refreshments no one was around to help, the food was sparse, breakfast consisted of 1 slice of cheese,1 slice of meat plus 2 slices of bread and a luke warm cup of tea/coffee which was to last till the evening meal 6.30pm.when complained to national they did not want to know.

Hotel in good position, Clean and friendly.
Big room three beds for two of us.
Food has a lot to be desired, very plain, soup very salty a weeks allowance of salt in three days
If you don't like pork don't go.
If you live in the north of England don't attempt this journey it's seventeen hours and that is if there is no hold ups on the way, we arrived at the hotel at 11.30 pm. The week before us didn't arive until 01.00 hrs.
Went with National Express good drivers but our Itinerary i.e trips, were far to long, Up early back late, no time to relax before dinner,
Would not do this trip again.

The hotel is a bit dated but very clean and tidy. The staff are very helpfull and friendly. The hotel is a few meters from the Rhine so some of the rooms have a good view. The food is overall fairly good.very good value for money we would certainly go back.

Just stayed for 5 nights and found the whole experience first class.Staff were helpful and very friendly towards our party. They went out of their way to accommodate the children's food fads, Rooms were clean, well furnished and well maintained. Food was basic but excellent value. Hotel is in an excellent location right on the side of the river with plenty of local activities. Every one of our group have thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we couldn't have asked for more from the staff. Highly recommended.
