Excellent hotel in a must see town/city
The plus points of the hotel are location. It is at the station and close to public transport services. The Ibis group of hotels is our favorite stay-over due to our we-know-what-we-get syndrome (WKWWG-syndrome). We have stayed in many IBIS-hotels and our opinion is that the services are good; it is clean and well maintained. The personnel are well trained and very friendly.
The down side of this specific hotel is that it is in a very noisy part of the town.
Our only have three negative comments about the IBIS-group of hotels namely:
1 - The access to internet is limited or non-existing (no PC's available for sending or downloading emails).
2 - Cost to phone or fax is horribly expensive especially fax
3 - Some hotels are still very expensive during off-peak season

Good location and quiet
The rooms were adequate with a good bed and clean. There was no ironing board or iron in the room you had to go to a downstairs bathroom and iron. The bathroom was to small and did not have hanging facilities and it was not configured well for an "ironing room." The hotel had an elevator but the elevator did not go to our floor. Parking was available and there was plenty of room. Convenient to the rail station and local taxis.
