I travel to Frankfurt approximately 4-6 times a year.
Novotel Frankfurt City West is always my first choice for the following reasons:
Perfect location, Quiet neighborhood, reasonable rates, comfortable rooms, efficient staff, free parking, and great breakfast. Do I need to say more?
To conclude - there are much more luxurious hotels but the Novotel Frankfurt City West gives you much more than its' value.

Luxurious and not quiet

Our stay at Novotal Frankfurt West was most enjoyable. The room was comfortable, clean and functional, the staff was friendly and courteous, the service was excellent, and food and ambience were fine. Only exception was loud music in the lounge, which we mentioned to the management.

Top Local Tips for Frankfurt

Asian Food I can highly recommend Restaurant Matsuri, Ulmenstrasse 1, for Japanese food and Restaurant Seoul for Korean food. Both restaurants are relatively inexpensive and casual but serve excellent and authentic food.

Museumsufer "Mile of Museums" Frankfurt uses its "Mile of Museums" along the river as a big selling point. They are vastly overrated. A business city worried about being seen as lacking culture decides to knock up a few token museums- that's how they come across in reality. To be fair, some of them are quite good for what they are, but compared to other German cities they are a poor relation. Richard Meier's Museum fur angewandte Kunst is already a crumbling ruin which is mostly closed off for urgent repairs. The Stadelmuseum simply doesn't stand up to equivalent galleries in other German cities. I actually found far more interesting galleries just outside of Frankfurt, e.g. Wiesbaden. If you are choosing between Frankfurt and say Stuttgart, Dusseldorf or Berlin for galleries and museums, don't pick Frankfurt.
