Poor experiences all round
I have stayed in about 25 different hotels across the world in the last 18 months, and this was definitely one of my worst experiences.
I have stayed here twice, in December 2005 and January 2007. The first time, I arrived at the hotel for a 2-night stay on a Sunday evening and discovered that I could not be issued with a hotel key because of some kind of systems failure. This meant that I had to get the help of a porter every time I wanted to get back into my room. This problem had not been rectified by the Monday morning.
Once I made it into my room, I then discovered that it was impossible to get any hot water!!! The absolute hottest that it got was barely above body temperature - you could leave your hand in the stream.
In other words, two of the most absolute basic requirements of a hotel, especially one that markets itself as for business travellers, were not met. I couldn't move freely to and from my room or have a hot shower.
