Nice hotel but...

Hi. The hotel is clean. However beware of its location. You have to walk 10-15 minutes before getting to the metro and the station (Heildeberger Platz) is far from central. The staff was ok and the english was reasonable, although the cleaning ladies were very prompt in entering your room after just a couple of knocks on the door!!

I liked the hotel and all their services are very good. Only matter which surprised me was that everyone spoke very little English but that is not really a problem :-)

Winter's Hotel in Berlin was in an ok location, it was handy to the metro and was in a quiet residential area. Unfortunately the hotel wasn't what we expected - the rooms were very small and it was more like a hostel. The walls were VERY thin! We thought we were getting rooms with bathrooms - but it they were shared bathrooms. If you are after budget then this is the one for you.

Found the staff friendly and helpful, spoke English well. The restaurant was superb. Very clean and extremely well priced. Close to public transport. Will do again!
