Berlin Card If you stay in Berlin 48 or 72 hours, you can buy the Berlin Card which offers free public transportation as well as reduced fees for many attractions. This is quite helpfull: you can just jump on and off the buses or the U-Bahn and S-Bahn. Take the Line 100, it brings you directly to all main attractions as Siegessäule, Reichstag or Brandenburger Tor.

Berlin is a great place to walk around If you are wearing comfortable shoes, berlin is a great place to walk around, with the urban regeneration and new building projects there is a huge amount to see without having to spend any money in the process. In fine weather the tiergarten is beautiful whatever the season, the new sony centre has a huge range of events, shops and entertainment around it. Unter den Linden, the reichstag, the new Jewish memorial and the cathedrals and concert houses are all within easy walking distance of one another and if you walk through Tiergarten you can reach the zoo, the aquarium andthe shops around Ku Damm. In winter the street markets are great to visit and the regular flea markets are also worth a visit

Use the S-Bahn and U-Bahn It's clean, cheap and the best way to get around this big city.
