Great location, yet quiet
The hotel is situated just a few metres down from the main Kurfurstendam boulevard, and so there is absolutely no traffic or other street noise, and yet still centrally located. The staff were really friendly and helpful with information about tours, restaurants etc. The feeling was quite homely instead of cold as you often find in a large hotel chain. Public transport is only a few minutes walk away if you need it. Great variety of extremely reasonably priced restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The continental breakfast in the hotel was fresh every day and really good. No bad points at all really. The room had a shower (my wife would have preferred a bath, but we knew that before we booked) and that was about the only 'shortcoming'. The room was bigger than normal with high celings giving an airy feel. Will definitely go there again!
