Great budget hotel
Excellent location near transport, shops, cafes etc. We had a twin room which was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as we thought it was a little pricey at 15 euros each for a bowl of muesli and a coffee. There were no coffee making facilities in the room, presumably because they want you to make use of the minibar. However there is a supermarket round the corner for cheaper drinks and snacks. No air-conditioning either, and the room faced the front of the hotel so was noisy with or without the window open. I would stay here again - thoroughly recommend it.

A good few days on the K'Dam
We arrived by taxi during a weekend of festivities so completed the last 100 metres by foot. The reception is on floor 6 which is certainly unusual in our experience. We had a nice welcome and our room had twin beds, t.v. telephone and details of the area. The bathroom was perfectly adequate.
Our breakfast was excellent, both hot and cold buffet. As the weather was good we were able to eat on the balcony.
The hotel is very well positioned for all the attractions in Berlin.The Ka De Weh is no distance and trains and buses are nearby. All in all we had a lovely holiday, yes ,there was noise from the street and we kept our windows open for air but it didn't stop us from sleeping well.

Be Warned
The hotel is certainly in a good position, but be warned that there is no air-conditioning or fans and the rooms at the front of the hotel can get very hot. They also demanded full payment for the week before we even saw the room - a definite danger sign. But at 11pm there was no choice but to pay up. Rooms are small and a little run-down, but the bathrooms are bright and clean. There is little drawer space for unpacking, although a little imagination could have provided a large drawer under a window. There was confusion over whether breakfast was included, and it wasn't.
