We stopped here on our way back from a lovely 4 week break around France - mainly as is it had a room that would fit the four of us (having two small children) - I walked into the room and saw the stained carpet, which I tripped on due to the wrinkles in it and holes in the floorboards, the worn out furniture and the curtains half hanging off, and then the bathroom which wasn't easy to fit into without injuring your shoulders, then the shower - yuk! - mildew and dirt and several dark short and curly's in (and around the sink) - I really wanted to leave, but given the date and the having spent 6 hours getting there - this wasn't an option. My experience was further enhanced by being up a good part of the night, having been bitten constantly by whatever bugs where sleeping in the bed with me; I sat up a good part of the night, having had about an hours sleep we made the drive to Dover and then a six hour drive home - not easy after such an awful night! - please don't go there unless you are homeless and its free - it is awful!

Been to Wimereux many times and thought would try a typical French hotel for a change. Hotel was shut, but a polite young girl opened up for us. Everything was shut, bat and restaurant and we were the only ones in the hotel. We were given a key and told us to lock up after ourselves. Room very old and has seen better days. Radiator leaking. Wallpaper peeling off walls. Dirty shower. Broken bedside table. Cold. Won't be going back. Keep going to Etap, in comparison it's value for money.
