I went to this hotel with my college and we had a great time. The majority of the food was average not too bad at all for a 2* hotel have had worse. As for out room it was tiny with 2 bunk beds and a small gang way, our bathroom well you couldnt call it a bathroom you could sit on the toilet have a shower and clean your teeth all at the same time luckily other members of our group proper bathroom so we just used this everynight as our shower also smelt like drains the one time we did use it. Despite the room the hotel staff were great really friendly and great fun to be with. The resort isn't the best quite dirty in my opinion, I have been to better skiing resorts but the skiing was brilliant for intermediate with 2 mountains to choose from. Overall a good holiday but probably not likely to go back to this resort.

Food was disgusting. The staff were nice though. The rooms were not very nice, very old fashioned and in need of updating. Reception was nice and the bar areas. Location was quiet but close to shops.
Fawlty Towers (a la France)

No hot water after 1600hrs! No hanging hooks; no reading lights; Bathroom like a 'Tardis Box'; one constantly bangs your head on basin taps. Hotel overrun by Hooliganistic school group that constantly vandalised the snooker table (balls hitting guests). Hotel was organised for benefit of school group to detriment of adult guests. Dinner uninspiring, breakfast good. Alcohol prices exorbitant (£4.00 - 9.00/pint). Staff very cooperative (especially dining room). Ski Bound rep was ineffective; gave little (if any) advice and unable to control the behaviour of the school hooligans (nor could their teachers). Great resort - superb skiing; hotel badly needs effective management

As a family for Christmas we decided upon a ski trip to Valloire and are so glad that we did. We stayed in The Hotel Touring in valloire. The hotel was a small but traditional hotel with an amazing view of the mountains. The hotel itself was clean, amazing food to which we were shocked at as the hotel was only a 2 star but the food which were given was more like a 5 star, christmas dinner for example was a 7 course meal to which catered for all with a wide selection and amazing service and lots of wine to compliment the meal. The staff were great and were managed by a young but by the looks of it a very experienced management team who were always on hand to offer advice and service when needed, this even went as far as providing medical support to our daughter who fell ill on the nmorning we were due to leave the hotel the manager in question to which we are very thankful for. The holiday reps who were stuck up and didn't seem to want to do much with us apart from take our money for apres and leave another rep to do it with us who was ok but he seemed to be to bothered about having a good time himself rather than us guests, ski fit which is done in the hotel was ok but it took a long time and the ski fitters didn't seem to care much. The holiday was enjoyed by all and the only negative point during our stay was the reps but this was not important as the service that the hotel staff gave us was second to none, we will be returning next year!!!!
Surprising!

Booked holiday through First Choice was worried after the review I had read from a group of shool kids on how terrible the hotel was. Initially when we reached the airport the reps were very helpful and friendly. Despite the 2.5 hour transfer was my only complaint. When we got to the Hotel it looks quite small but very traditional. The room was very small and basic but clean. Take hangers for your clothes as we only had two which was a little tricky. After speaking to other guests we seemed to be lucky with our room as we were at the end of the corridor in the end room, this was such a bonus as we had a bath and shower, where all the other guests only had a shower, and personally after a long hard day at the slopes i like nothing better than a nice hot bubble bath, but it was all Very clean, which was my main worry. Breakfast consists of fresh bread, croissants, ham, cheese, cereal and fruit. Which was all fresh. Evening meal was really good also for a two star, every day we were severed with something different which majority of people would like. We stayed for Christmas and for Christmas day we had a six course meal which was really great. A big thumbs up to the hotel Touring. Some very helpful staff mercedes and damien spring to mind, but Lisa was a little arrogant at the start of the holiday but lightened up towards the end. Other than that no complaints.
