The Chardon is excellent value for money. Set in the centre of the rural and pretty little village of Vagnas it is very typically French. About 5 km from the bustling tourist town of Vallon Pont d'Arc, Vagnas is a great base for touring the Ardeche region.

The Chardon is run by a Scottish / French couple who go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. The rooms are very clean, the bar is great for simply hanging out and the whole experience is superb!

Small, friendly hotel, basic snack, bar meals - speak english and french - rooms very clean, limited bathroom facilities but the owners are very friendly and accomodating - very good with children and village is safe. Rating only 8 due to bathroom facilites but would give a 10 for service.
