Excellent Hotel in Scenic France
My wife & I stayed here for 2 nights for a weekend break. The Hotel is in the centre of Talloire village on the East side of lake Annecy. Easy to drive from Geneva. We had a top floor room (59)which had spectacular views of the lake and the mountains and hills. We were rather helped by the weather of course. There was a wooden balcony, not shared with any other rooms, with table and chairs. Caught the Sun in the afternoon & can see the sunset. Staff really helpful. We didn't eat there at all so can't talk about restaurant. In our opinion the Hotel looked the most traditional French building compared to some of the other hotels in the area - many of which couldn't match in our opinion. Walking distance from two Cafes, Patiserie, La Poste, 8 till late and the lake side area (people swimming). Only gripes were that the bath was too short for a tall guy & the bed was a little uncomfortable - but considering everything else was so good this was not a real problem for us.
