Convenient, calm and attractive
We visit Strasbourg often, trying out different hotels. The Sofitel has been one of the few "repeats". Convenient location combined with quiet, and well-maintained, attractive surroundings are what distinguish the Sofitel. Located on a small, quiet square, on the fringes of the main shopping and pedestrian zone, just a few minutes by foot from the main Strasbourg attractions, the Sofitel is an upscale hotel, which can often be booked on the Internet for very reasonable, discounted rates. For those arriving by car, there is convenient public parking in the square in front of the hotel. Valet parking is also offered. The tram stop (""Homme de Fer"") is less than 5 minutes away. Rooms are spacious and attractive, with the amenities one would expect in a 4-star establishment -- room safe, mini-bar, hair dryer, internet connectivity, and the like.
