Top Local Tips for Perpignan

Excellent traditional cuisine Les Antiquaires restaurant takes a bit of searching to find on Place Despres, but it's a great spot for an excellent French meal. Among the highlights of our dinner there were a first course of seafood gratin and unbelievably great desserts, including a chocolate mousse and raspberry-blueberry cake. The Grand Marnier souffle, ordered by another table, had the entire room gaping.

Go with the flow Many people now go to Perpignan to see Rugby League. My tip is to remember that this is not your average tourist destination, this is France as she is spoke. So, go with the flow, slow down and enjoy what it offers ... good rugby, good food and great Rousillon wine.
