Tiny and comfortable hotel in excellent area

Short walk to Arch de Triomphe and metro stops, close to grocer, shops and numerous cafes. Great value. Helpful and pleasant desk staff. Would definatly stay there again.

Excellent Option

We only wanted to stay in a clean hotel, with kind people and good services to spend a marvellous weekend in Paris. This Hotel is a very good option. Very well located, just two small bloks from the Arc of Triumph and from the metro "Etoile". We spent some time shopping in Champs Eliseés and we had the chance to come back to the hotel to leave all our shopping bags because the hotel is at just 10 minutes walking from the main shopping area.
We did not take any food there but it might be good.
I would recommend this hotel. Price is reasonable considering that Paris is Paris..

minute bedroom!

We booked this hotel mainly because of the photos posted on the internet and the good reviews we found on trip advisor. Our bedroom definately did not resemble any of those shown! It should only have been for one person. The double bed took up most of the room and the bathroom was minute!

However it was clean, breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Great Lovely Hotel

We went to Paris by 2 days after a long trip in Egipt. Is the first time we used this hotel. Small familiar hotel with excellent rooms, great atention and very good breakfast. All the personal speak french and english and some of them spanish. The location is perfect just two blocks from Champ Elises and from many excellent restaurant and cafes. The metro station is one block from the hotel. This hotel is a perfect place to stay in Paris.

nice weekend

We used a business trip to France end of October to spend a weekend in Paris for sightseeing. For this purpose this hotel is really convenient. It is located close to the Arc de Triomphe (one end of the Champs-Élysées) and can be reached easily from the peripherie-highway. The reception staff is very friendly and customer oriented - what I would not say about every waiter in the restaurants of Paris ;-! . The rooms are small, but clean and well equipped.
The only negative aspect is the assigned parking house - it is close to the hotel, but very dark and it is an adventure to find the way out and then back to the car later on.

Nothing real fancy but great location and room was nice, bed comfy

Nice clean hotel with great location (within walking distance of the Champs Elysees, bakery just right around the corner, and about 500 yards from the Air France bus stop that brings you to Charles de Gaulle Airport).

I had a room on the last floor, lots of light, quiet, queen bed was good and room size was fine (translate that it was biger than your standard "closet size" room you usually encounter in Paris). For the price (~$100/night), nothing to complain about (for the picky, Marriott and 4Seasons are by the Champs Elysees starting ~ $800/night...). Staff was friendly and helpful. Cleaning folks have limited english but friendly.

By the way, the japanese restaurant in the street has great sushi (not cheap -hey it's Paris...- but very fresh!). You have also up the street fast food joints.

I would defintively go back.

Perfect for 4 lively 17 year olds, celebrating an 18th birthday - thank you for putting up with us!!
Excellent location for all destinations by bus, walking or metro. Plenty of restaurants to hand, suitable for all our needs including 2 vegetarians. Will definately be back in the future.

the room was clean, and good at using color.
and enough space for opening our two big baggages.
The style is European and it's so comfortable.
Staff at the reception was very kindly.
convenience taking shuttle bus for the airport from this hotel.
I would like to use again when I will go Paris.

We stayed at the Tilsitt twice in the last month as we were passing through Paris on our way to & from Africa.

It is a beautiful little boutique hotel in a great location. 2 blocks from the Arc de Triomphe & the top of the Champs Elysee.

The service was wonderful & friendly. Thankfully the staff spoke excellent English, as I had forgotten to take my husbands passport out of the safe & didn't realize it until we were at the airport checking in for our flight!!! Manuel, at the front desk, was an incredible help & was able to convince a taxi driver to deliver the passport to us at the airport & we would pay him upon arrival. We made our flight.... whew!!! I can't say enough good about the amazing, friendly & helpful staff.

The rooms are small, as all European rooms are, but neat & clean. Neither of our rooms had the white bedreads that are shown in all the pictures, but everything was very nice.

I would definitly stay here again & do not hesitate recommending it.

Excellent location, round the corner from Arc de Triomphe, a couple of streets from Champs Elleyse.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Breakfast very good and until 10.30am.

Stayed here while attending a conference, influenced by the reviews on this website, and I think the reviews are accurate. Rooms are certainly not large, but reasonably sized for Europe. Spotless bathrooms, good mattresses. Had a room in the back of the building, not much of a view but very quiet, and the blackout curtains in the room helped as well. Wifi available in the rooms for a price (8 Euros for 1 hour to be used within a day, 15 Euros for 3 hours over 2 days). Small TV with European channels (English channels the BBC and MTV), minibar and small safe in the room. Nice breakfast buffet perhaps a bit pricy at 12 Euros with hard boiled eggs, ham, cheese, baked goods, fruit salad; includes coffee and juice. Staff speak good English, were very helpful, and a great location about a 4-5 minute walk from the Etoile Metro stop and the Champs d'Elysees, and about a 5 minute walk from the Air France airport bus stop. Would stay there again.

Top Local Tips for Paris

Metro, Travel On arrival in Paris buy a 3 day or week pass. It is unbelievable value.

Museum Passes Make the most of your visit by checking websites in advance for opening times, many are closed on Mondays. The museum pass is great value only if you don't spend half days or more at each venue. Under 18's are usually free, so don't pre book a museum pass. Under 18's need to take a evidence of proof of age.

L'Verte Etoile Try this Restaurant! This is listed as a recommendation in Lonely Planet. Restaurant Manager is amazingly friendly and helpful with the menu. For 28Euros, you get to have an Aperitif, Starter, Mains, Desert and a bottle of wine! How's that for value!!! Food is great stuff so it's really not about paying less for less...
