Good for the Price

I stayed here with my brother in the summer of 2003. While it was not the Ritz, it was OK for the price (very low compared with similar hotels in Paris), and good for sleeping. I always had a good night's sleep there. The people in front were very nice to me (they even WAITED hours for me to arrive from one of my notorious excursions trying to find a Coke in Paris - a formidable task for an American) and deserve a good review. In all, while the hotel DOES have its physical problems, the people who stayed here and managed the hotel made it worth the stay.

To sleep in the rubbisch laying in front of the hotel is better the sleeping inside

This hotel is a danger for health and body. Please, for your own good, newer place a footstep inside. I've been there in April 05 and since that time I avoid **hotels. The rooms are so very small, I thought I'm in a dollhouse. Hairs laid on the bed-blanket, their was no cupboard in the room, only a big, let's say "pigeonhole", and the walls are so thin, that we could here if somebody was taking a shower 3 floors above. The serive was laughable. The man at the reception enteres our rooms without permission, sometimes even without knocking, when we talked ordinary,(ordinary ment for him too LOUD!!!, because of the thin walls, you should know).Though the hotel has 5 or 6 floors, and so it was quite big, 4 people slept double room. The beds, if we want to call them so, were rests from shanties. For preventing you vomit, I do not start to talk about the bathroom. Washing in the Seine is more hygienic than there. Please take another hotel, or wear allways a protection-suit at entering.

This hotel is the lovliest quality and prices are too big. Dirty carpets, runny WCs, bad service - That is mark of Nouvel Hotel.
