| Nothing Special |
| The Hotel location is very good for transport but we didn't feel safe walking round at night time. There were several groups of young lads hanging about on street corners and a number of beggars laid full length across the pavement so that you had to walk round them. The local area was rough.
We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and after several hours touring round we decided to go and relax in the hotel bar for the evening. We found it closed this was about 8.30pm. I asked a porter in reception if the bar would be opening he simply said its closed. I asked is this because its Sunday ? He leaned into my face and said in a loud voice "its closed" Not a nice experience. Having said that, the girls working on Reception were very pleasant and helpful.
We found the Bar open on Tuesday evening but only just, we entered at 11.30pm after a night out only to be told we are just closing, we managed one drink. This is not very good for a large hotel.
The breakfast was very basic and not worth the 14EUR charge.
The bedroom was a good size. The bed sheets were clean but the rest of the bed covers were dirty and stained.
We would look for another hotel next time. |
