Top Local Tips for Paris
Metro/Subway/Underground Is very easy to use the parisian public transportation. In my first time in Paris I was very afraid to use subways, I thought they were dirty and dark, in fact, they really are, but you get used to it whem you find out thet it's the best way to get around, it's fast, it cheap and you can easily get anywhere. The best way to save some money is to buy tickets in multiples of 10, by doing that you can save almost 2,00 euros and it's easy and simple to buy, I usually bought that in the machines and all the informations in that were in french and english. This tickets are the same we use to go up in Montmartre, so, you don't have to get another one.
heavenly afteroon tea on rue royale We went to Laduree for afternoon tea on Rue Royale and it really was as great as we expected. Try the Marie Antoinette tea and millefeuille aux fruits rouge. There are cherubs on the ceiling and beautiful gold mirrors and the staff are very pleasant. A great way to spend a sunday afternoon.
Nougat There is a great little place in Nation that sells the most incredible hand made pistachio nougat! If you are there be sure to keep a look out for it!
