Nice little hotel for the price

Stay here with the girlfriend was very pleasant. Room was touch on the small side, but still comfortable. Staff at the hotel were very helpful (give or take a little 'French-ness') and made you feel welcome. No more than a minute or so walk to 2 metro stations. Breakfast is 7.5 Euros per head per day if you require it. Usual continental serve-yourself breakfast, so best idea here is to pig-out in the morning! Mini-safe in rooms available for 2.5 Euros per day. Restaurants nearby are mostly Italians/take aways, so if you're after something other than pizza, you'll need to go a little further afield. All in all, a pleasant stay.

Well located hotel a stone's throw from Place d'Italie and therefore easy to connect to rest of Paris by metro/RER. The room was clean albeit very small, but comfortable. Would definitely use it again as it was good value for money and made an excellent base for tourists who dont want to spend lots of time in their room!

I've had some very nice stays at the hotel, the last one two years ago. I have not stayed there since the hotel seems to have changed name and owner.

The hotel was very nice, clean, and the rooms were a nice size. The staff was very helpful with directions and with keeping the clients happy. I would probably stay there again.

Top Local Tips for Paris

beverages are sooo expensive You can waste a lot of money buying sodas and bottled water in Europe from little sandwich shops and cafes. If you are just looking for a bottle of water to carry around while you wander the streets of Paris or Rome, rather than a quiet moment sitting in a cafe, stop at a grocery store where they are all under a euro a piece. You'll spend around 2 and a half euros in a cafe or sandwich shop. It can really add up on a long trip! Also remember that department stores usually have a grocery store in them. So when you're strolling the Champs Elysees stop by the Monoprix, if you're out by the Opera stop at the Galeries Lafayette. You can also ask for the nearest supermarket at the hotel front desk if you want to buy a six pack to keep in the room.

Metro Although the Metro is an excellent, safe and cheap way to get around Paris, dont be afraid of walking to attractions or destinations instead of taking the Metro 2/3 stops. Some of the best sights you'll see are when you are simply walking around the City and taking it all in.

Avoid the Eiffel Tower just before midnight The queues are massive so be there in good time! Once on second floor there is another - even longer - queue to get you up to the top. Going down means queueing again...
