Shabby but otherwise fine

We did have a problem with the door lock but after several complaints it got fixed. It is not easy to find a hotel with triple rooms, so we were pleased to have 3 real beds. The bread and crossoints for breakfast were fresh and delicious and the coffee good. Not up to American standards, perhaps, but who wants to live like an American when in Paris? I would certainly stay there again.
Nice guys, nice food

The people who worked there were very hospitable, even if you didn't speak French. The breakfast was unbelievable. The location is great too, right next to the garden. I'm going back to France, and there is nowhere id rather stay in Paris.
Good Value - Good Location

I have stayed there three times and feel the hotel is a good value. The last time I had a fair sized room with big bath with shower. If I remember breakfast was included in the price. Clean, but needs to be redecorated and a face lift. Did not accept credit cards and had to call for a reservation. I would go there again because I felt it was a good value at 55 Euro a night at that time. A couple reasonably priced restaurants near by and a small convience store on one corner and on the other corner a small oriental restaurant for take out. Metro was a few blocks away, but bus was near at the Luxembourg Gardens.
Mostly good

Good value and good location. Some, but not all, of the personnel speak English. Breakfast, I believe, is optional. One caveat: The hotel closes at 1 AM.
A good value

I have stayed here twice. It is a good value, the rooms are clean but the hotel needs a face lift. Breakfast was included in the price. They did not take credit cards and had no web site or e-mail. Had to call to make reservation. At that time they only spoke French and that may have changed since then. Good location, many restaurants near by and a convience store at the corner.

The manager or owner (he refused to tell me his title) was very rude. He charged my group for breakfast when we hadn't eaten or order breakfast.
He said it was our responsibity to inform him we didn't want breakfast. We'd never stayed in a hotel that operated in this manner.
So, we had to pay out quite a bit of cash for a meal that cost over seven euros when we'd not even eaten it.
